About Sallie
Sallie Foley, LMSW, is a psychotherapist, author, and lecturer.
She teaches at the University of Michigan School of Social Work
and is the director of both the University of Michigan Health
System's center for sexual health and the Michigan Sexual Health
Certificate program. She is also an AASECT certified sex
therapist. Foley is frequently interviewed by the media, including
appearances on CBS Early Show and CNBC, and is cited in
numerous publications for her expertise on sexual dysfunction
and its treatment.
Foley co-authored the critically acclaimed book Sex Matters For
Women: A complete guide to taking care of your sexual self
(Guilford, 2002). Her most recent book Modern Love: A
no-nonsense guide to a life of passion (AARP/Sterling) was
released in late 2006.
